Beinn a' Chochuill along with Beinn Eunaich form the northern group of Munros in the Cruachan region. Beinn a' Chochuill sits at the end of a western ridge that connects the two. Beinn a' Chochuill has two fantastic features; firstly the summit ridge is a superb walk as the north face is extremely steep with amazing crags the whole way along. The other good feature about Beinn a Chochuill is the amazing views you get of Ben Cruachan across the valley Lairig Noe that separates the two. You can really appreciate how complex a mountain this really is.
Beinn a' Chochuill overall is a fantastic hill and a good trip should definitely be had by all.
Parking is available near the entrance to Castle Farm on the B8077 but can be limited.
