'The favourite path is up the easy south ridge and back the same way. This makes quite a short day. If you want a more interesting day out tackle the north ridge which is much more rocky and features one single tricky move. This move can be bypassed by traversing round into the eastern corrie with perhaps a visit to the lochs. With luck you should see Orkney from the summit and the fine sandy north coast beaches. Take the opportunity to check out the Broch which lies at the beginning of the south ridge. |
