Ben More is the only Munro on Mull and in fact the only Island Munro out with the Skye Cuillins. Ben More can be made as easy or as difficult as you like dependant on which route you choose.
The summit is the intersection of 3 ridges and offers many scrambling opportunities. The NE ridge crosses to a high col before joining up with subsidiary peak A' Chioch, the S ridge leads to Maol nan Damh and finally the NW ridge splits going down either side of Coire nam Furan.
For most the route starts at Dhiseig on the B8035 road just next to Loch na Keal. A well made path will take you the entire way to the summit up the NW ridge which is fine but circling round the hill and tackling it via its NE ridge is much more interesting especially if you are a scrambler.
Views from the summit are superb. Its position just next to the coast gives fantastic elevated views right over to the Inner Hebridean Isles including Staffa and Iona.
Due to its rather special isolated location on the Isle of Mull many walkers leave Ben More for their final Munro and make a weekend of it. Ben More is a superb Munro with fantastic ridges, fine summit views and a bit of scrambling what more could you possibly want.
