Ben Oss sits in the Cononish Valley just west of Tyndrum. It has a pointed summit that is hard to see from the road as it is obscured by its neighbour Beinn Dubhchraig. Viewing from the north or south is a good viewing point as you get to see the summit peak in full. Ben Oss is normally climbed in conjunction with Beinn Dubhchraig to make a good day out on the hills. This eastern corrie is one of its main features. It takes you on a high airy walk around Loch Oss and on to the summit of Dubhchraig.
The views from the summit of Ben Oss are spectacular especially of Ben Lui. From this view point you can really appreciate the complex structure of all the summit ridges and crags.
There is ample parking available at Dalrigh on the A82
