Binnein Mor is the largest of the Munros in the Mamore region and what a fine peak it is! It has a pointed summit with extremely impressive crags to both the west and east. It shares a north ridge with its little brother Munro Binnein Beag however Binnein Mor outclasses it in every aspect. The summit ridge leading from Binnein Beag is a superb walk with plenty of exposure to keep you on your toes. The southern ridge takes you down a small bit of ascent before splitting to connect with Na Gruagaichean to the SW and The summit arc of Sgurr Eilde Mor both of which are Munros. Most people climb Binnein Mor from the north starting in Glen Nevis. Parking is available at a car park at the western end of the Glen but will involve roughly an 8km walk in through the Glen to reach the base of hill. Binnein Mor is one of Scotland’s best Munros.
